A letter to the News-Press responding to the article “Concierge” by Pam Webster, printed on March 15, 2010: "We have a wonderful, caring concierge doctor who writes a column for The News-Press, Dr. Andrew Oakes-Lottridge. My husband was recently in the hospital for nine days, and I was so thankful to have him there every day at a time when I could be there. He worked with the other doctors, explained everything to me and guided me through the whole process. We do have wonderful doctors in our community, and I have been treated by a number of the ones you named. However, I am happy to pay for the extraordinary care we receive from Dr. Oakes-Lottridge. We receive 24/7 medical care, including house calls, and best of all when I call his number, I don't get a menu of numbers to press and an aggravating voice telling me how much my patience is appreciated.
